Two grants through the Volunteer Firefighter Loan Assistance Program

President John L. Hearn successfully secured two grants through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Volunteer Firefighter Loan Assistance Program totaling over $22,000.00. These funds were used for building repairs. Specifically, the Company replaced 22 windows in the firehouse to protect the community's investment of apparatus. Although Company funds were utilized to complete the repairs, the grant reduced a major expenditure from the Company's operating budget and enabled more resources to be directed towards fire fighting and protecting the community.
