  Welcome

Welcome to our newly designed web site hosted by Tuscano Studios. Elkins Park Fire Company, District #3, is one of five volunteer fire company districts within Cheltenham Township and provides fire protection and related services, community education, and fire prevention measures to the residents, businesses, schools, and commuters in Cheltenham Township and Montgomery County.

Elkins Park Fire Company's fire district is connected to Philadelphia on the southern edge of the Township and Abington Township on the northern edge. Our primary response district travels east to New Second Street and to the West as far as York Road. Further, through mutual aid agreements, Elkins Park Fire Company frequently responds to neighboring fire districts, such as the Cheltenham Hook and Ladder Company, Ogontz Fire Company, LaMott Fire Company, and Glenside Fire Company, as well as numerous other neighboring fire companies for support.

The Elkins Park Fire Company has continuously served the residents of Melrose Park and Elkins Park since 1892 as volunteers and has provided the community with an experienced, dedicated, professional firefighter staff capable of handling all types of fires and fire-related emergencies. As a volunteer fire company, our members include your friends, family, and neighbors, all of whom spend a significant amount of time protecting and serving the Community. Elkins Park Fire Company provides a crucial and essential service to the Community, as do all of Montgomery County's volunteer fire companies, and we look forward to continuing to protect and serve Cheltenham Township and Montgomery County.

Thank you, and enjoy our website.
